The Parent Teacher Council of Stamford, CT (PT Council) is a strong citywide organization working exclusively on behalf of children and youth. Our primary objective is to unite our twenty individual school's PTOs' and to strengthen the family unit through parent involvement. The PT Council is made up of a Executive Board and a representative from all 20 Stamford Public Schools grades K-12. We provide workshops, leadership development, information, and programs; coordinates programs and projects of member units; and works to promote parent-teacher partnerships in the school district and wider community.

We are currently looking for PT Council officers for the 2012-2013 school year. All positions are open except Senior Co-President. Please note that to be on the PTC Board, you must be a PTC delegate for your school or a Board member of your own PTO. More Information>
